Global Talent Award

At the Global Talent Week, we will announce the Global Talent Award, a cash prize of EUR 10,000.- to one outstanding talent who offers the best solution/initiative towards our chosen SDGs. All successful applicants will have a platform to present their idea to a jury panel of experts, investors, professors, and entrepreneurs.

Send in your solution to one of the challenges below, or nominate a candidate you mean deserves the prize.

Application Details:

  • Your solution should target one of SDG 11, 12, 13, or 14
  • 500 words max about “What is your solution?”
  • 500 words max about “What is expected impact of your solution?”

Global Talent Award Timeline

Applicants have until February 1st to submit their proposal. Our SDG Partner organisations will assess these proposals, and up to 25 applicants per SDG will reach the semi-finals, and be able to present their idea in a Poster/Study Booth. After an initial popular vote, up to 10 applicants will present a pitch to their SDG’s jury panel on March 21st-22nd. The top 3 for each SDG will then compete in the Grand Finale on Thursday March 23rd, with one individual winning the Global Talent Award.

BROAD CRITERIA

While assessing the applications, our jury panels will be using the 4 “I”s:

  • “Impact”, or how much your solution advances your chosen SDG
  • “Innovation”, or how much your solution challenges your SDGs current progress
  • “Implementation”, or how your solution could be rolled out (possible timelines, resources needed, etc.)
  • “I”, or how you could be a part a part of your solution
